The Leaving of Cloudkit and Wolfkit
It was late at night, the cold already begginning to sneak into the air and leaving the tiny kit, nearly of apprentice age, to curl near his mother, shivering. At his sides lay his two siblings; a light grey tom and a pure white she-cat.
"Hey," a wet nose nudged Oak-kit from his half-sleep state and he quickly looked up into his mother, Bluefeather's, face. "What is i-" he began then stopped, his little nose already begginning to sniff curiously at the air. The scent was so odd and far from a clan smell that it was easily identified by Oak-kit.
"Shadow!" he yelped a little too loudly, earning him a tiny glare from his mother. "Sorry," he half whispered, half laughed. Cloudkit and Wolfkit, hearing the noise, eased slowly from their sleep and before they were even half awake a dark figure slipped into the nursery. "Why hello," the figure said, coming close enough to the kits to reveal a husky black-and-white tom, his amber eyes glowing in the darkness. "Dad!" Cloudpaw and Wolfpaw squecked with excitement, stumbleing away from Bluefeather to the loner.
Shadow cast a small glance over at Bluefeather, and for a moment a sad look filled his face. "Are you... okay?" he asked he softly, looking away only after she gave a curt nod. He then focused back on the three kits. "I have a question for you three," he began, uncertainty filling every word in his voice, "I would like you three to come and live with me. Bluefeather too," he added, casting another glance at the queen. "We could travel all over these lands, finding things you've never even thought existed," a crooked smile.
"Really?" Cloudpaw's voice came out as another squeck of excitement and at her side Wolfpaw nodded hastily.
"Mom?" Oakpaw asked, his grin fadeing when he caught his mother's expression. "I will not leave RiverClan Shadow, I've already told you this." Oakpaw only stared at her, catching only the slightest hint of regret in her voice, and he shoke his head at Shadow. "I want to stay with mom," he said then added "Why can't you just stay too?"
Shadow shoke his head, "This place is no longer my home. Two-legs, as you call them, have taken my home to build one of their own. I must leave, and a clan cat I am not."
Before Oakpaw could answer the tom was already heading out the nursery entrence, two kits following in his path, both of them casting worried glances at Oakpaw as if begging him to follow with them. Oakpaw turned away.

Oakpaw is a newly appointed apprentice and therefore smaller then your average, say, warrior. He is, however, a small cat even for being an apprentice, and even as a newly made apprentice his figure stands closer to that of a kit.
--- * HEIGHT & WEIGHT :

Oakpaw's fur is short though oddly enough a tad curly. His pelt consists of different shades of brown rangeing from lights to darks that almost appear black.

Average size, maybe a tad small; a soft, murky green
--- * UNIQUE FEATURES :
Nothing very unique about Oakpaw. He does have one scar that runs along his back paw and, though it is visable, does not affect his movement.
--- * SHORT OVERALL :
Oakpaw is a very small tom closer to cute rather than handsome. Although the runt of his litter he was instead named for his fur, a name given by his mother. Speaking of his fur it is a soft mixture of browns going from lighter browns to very dark browns that could almost be described as black. His muzzle is splashed with a light grey/white and his eyes are a very soft, murky green.

-- When Oakpaw is anxious or angry his ears twitch.

--- * OVERALL PERSONALITY :
Oakpaw is the kind of cat who can be calm and think through a situation to find a reasonable solution even under pressure. He's also a fairly intelligent cat and a quick learned when it comes to hunting. Oh, and hunting and tracking are his best strengths. When it comes to fighting, however, Oakpaw's cloudly vision and small, delicate figure keep him from excelling. Even with his intelligence, though, Oakpaw tends to get distracted easily and forgets more then half of what he hears, a trait that can quickly get him some glares from his mentor.

--- * OVERALL HISTORY :
My mother, a pretty she-cat named Bluefeather, had fallen in love with a loner named named Shadow who lived just outside of the four clan's territories. She found out she was going to have kits and, after she informed Shadow about this, he was delighted about this though worried about the fate of the kits; loner or warrior. He voiced his worries to Bluefeather though let it be for a while.
Bluefeather finally had her kits; two toms and one she-cat. She named the she-cat Cloudkit and the two toms Oak-kit and Wolfkit. During nights Shadow would sneak into the nursery to see Bluefeather and his three kits though it wasn't until he was five moons old that Oakpaw actually remembers seeing his father. As the three kits began to near apprentice age Shadow began talking to them of a life outside of the clans. Oak-kit refused to leave RiverClan though Cloudkit and Wolfkit seemed more then interested in their father's talks and just shortly before becoming apprentices they left their mother and brother to live with their father.
At six moons old, his current age, Oak-kit was given the name of Oakpaw and was able to begin his trainings as an apprentice.
