[/b] and i guess i have some pet names but that's the name i like. anyways, i've been pulling these strings for like three years and you don't know how many puppets i've made dance. it's hard when we're all on these different times, and so you know that i'm not some lunatic who's never on, i'm on basically every day so there you are! oh, right, i almost forgot! sometimes you can catch me impersonating nobody and i'm loving it too! you need proof of my puppetry skills? fine! i swear, you're gonna be amazed, though.

"Stop flicking snow at me!" The playful mew of a young she-cat sounded somewhere near the river.
"No," came the amused voice of a tom about the same age. "It's funny."
Two cats were walking side-by-side down the edge of RiverClan territory, beside the river. One was a rather muscular ginger-and-white tom; the other was a sandy coloured she-cat.
The she-cat stared at him, her amber eyes sparkling with mischief, before using a forepaw to fling some of the fallen snow at the tom. He leapt back in surprise.
The pale ginger warrior burst into laughter at the sight of the now snowy tom before her. "Eaglefoot, look at you! It's... hilarious!"
And the tom just sniffed, but there was amusement in his green eyes. "Sandtail, I know that you're a kit at heart. You always-"
But he broke off as another cat appeared, stepping confidently out of the shadows and into the clearing where the two warriors spoke. He was an enormous cat, basically twice the size of Eaglefoot, with powerful shoulders and thick brown tabby fur. Immediately, Sandtail flinched and dove into the nearest clump of bracken; Eaglefoot watched her curiously before turning back to the large tom.
"Greetings Bramblefang," he mewed respectfully.
Suddenly the brown tabby lunged for the ginger-and-white tom, forcing him backward. Eaglefoot skidded in the thick snow and his paws were suddenly off land, and he began falling straight for the river.
"No!" Sandtail yowled desperately, leaping out of the bracken. But Bramblefang blocked her way; by the time she finally managed to shove her father aside, Eaglefoot was out of sight.
Bramblefang had murdered her one true love.
"You are coming back to camp," growled the dark brown tabby. There was a dangerous gleam in his amber eyes. "And if you tell any cat what you have seen, I will kill you; be sure of that."
Sandtail gazed at him, furious and bewildered, but also terrified to the bone. Her father was a dangerous cat, but nobody in the Clan knew that. She had no choice but to follow as Bramblefang turned and stalked away, into the shadows.

Slender and agile, considered undersized. This is an advantage, though, for she is quick in movement.

Height ;; Of average, perhaps a little less.
Weight ;; Same as above.
--- * FUR :
Sandtail's coat is short and sleek, but she has a slightly fluffy tail and chest. Marking her coat are very faint dark ginger stripes, while the main colour of her fur is a sandy golden colour. Her fur lightens around her eyes and muzzle into a snowy white, and she has white paws and a white neck. Her nose is a light pink.
--- * EYES :
Sandtail's eyes are like two penetrating amber stars. They are a very dark amber colour with fainter and lighter golden flecks, normal shaped and easy to read her emotions. Deep and quite pretty eyes for a she-cat.
--- * UNIQUE FEATURES :
She has a few scars; the main one being a rather long mark down her right side.
--- * SHORT OVERALL :
Sandtail is quite a small she-cat, considered undersized for her age. She has a slender frame with a triangular-shaped head, average-sized ears and paws. Her tail is quite long which gives her good balance, and she is agile and slender.
The colour of Sandtail's fur is a sandy golden, marked with faint darker stripes all down her body. Her neck and muzzle are a snowy white colour, while around her eyes lightens into a fainter creamy white colour.
Having quite short and sleek fur, Sandtail has the advantage of her fur drying quicker than longer length fur. Her tail and neck fur are slightly more fluffy than the rest of her coat, though. Finally Sandtail's eyes are both deep and penetrating, a dark amber colour with several lighter golden flecks.

Secretly still desires a mate but after Eaglefoot's death she isn't so certain.
She wants to go on a huge adventure but not by herself.

--- * GREATEST GOAL/FAILURE :
Goal ;; To one day become leader; it is one of her ambitions, although no cat can really tell. Since Sandtail was a kit she has always wanted to be this rank, respected and looked up to by the rest of the Clan.
Failure ;; When Eaglefoot died, Sandtail blamed herself. Every day she looks back and thinks to herself that she shouldn't have dived into the bracken and instead confronted her father - maybe then Eaglefoot would still be alive.

--- * OVERALL PERSONALITY :
Usually, Sandtail is a calm and confident she-cat. She is independant and thoughtful, easily curious but also easily suspicious. Sandtail is hostile immediately to a trespasser on her territory and wouldn't hesitate to drive them off.
Being quiet and sensitive, Sandtail is often dedicated to her work.
However the pale ginger she-cat has a quick temper, and she is very easily impatient. Sandtail can hiss and spit if a cat just said one wrong word or mentioned her father's name. She is very sensitive when her past is mentioned or she is taunted, and she takes out her anger by starting fights - serious ones, where her victim truly is in trouble.
But this doesn't happen often. Most of the time Sandtail is sitting alone, watching the clouds or the stars. Memories make her eyes darken, and the swirling emotions in the depths of her amber eyes show everything to a cat: the horror, the anger, the anxiety. Nobody needs to remind her. Sandtail's past will forever stay with her, and scares her whenever she thinks of it.

Mother ;; Her mother was a slender blue-grey she-cat named Streamheart. She was 36 moons old and died in kitting. Was a warrior and then a queen; died as a queen bearing her kits.
Father ;; Sandtail's father was an enormous brown tabby tom called Bramblefang. 42 moons old, He was a warrior, then a senior warrior, and then an ex-Clan cat when he disappeared. His location now is unknown, but Sandtail hasn't seen him since he was exiled.
--- * SIBLINGS :
Firekit . . Firekit was a small flame-colored tom. He caught greencough at the age of three moons and died because of it.
Silverclaw . . Silverclaw was a muscular silver tabby tom. At the age of about 15 moons, he was killed by a badger.
--- * OTHER SIGNIFICANT PEOPLE :

--- * LOVERS :
Wasn't definately a lover, but Sandtail definately was developing a crush on Eaglefoot. She realized how much she cared for him after he drowned. Eaglefoot is a rather muscular ginger-and-white tom with deep green eyes, and secretly cared a lot for Sandtail since late apprenticeship.
--- * BEST MEMORY :
Sandtail's best memory is when her father was exiled from the Clan. This is because she knew she was finally free of him, and all of the secrets were out: Bramblefang's murderous side was finally revealed to the rest of RiverClan and she was rid of him - at least, she thought so.
--- * WORST MEMORY :
Sandtail has two worst memories and she can't decide which is worse.
One is when her brother Silverclaw was killed by a badger; she was distraught, because she and Silverclaw were closer than other siblings because of the way Bramblefang abused and threatened them.
The other is when Eaglefoot was pushed into the river and drowned by Bramblefang. Sandtail thought she couldn't bare it - Eaglefoot was her only real friend left in the Clan after her brother died, and she thought she was alone and her father would kill her because she had nobody to protect her. Luckily her father was exiled straight after.
--- * FEARS :

--- * OVERALL HISTORY :
Kithood ;; Streamheart and Bramblefang gave birth to three beautiful kits - Sandkit, Silverkit and Firekit. Sadly, Streamheart died whilst delivering these kits, which made their father absolutely distraught.
The three siblings were given a foster mother to suckle, but Bramblefang rarely visitied them in the nursery. This worried the rest of the Clan. And then the kits reached three moons: this was in leaf-bare, when Firekit caught a bad case of greencough. The horrible disease took Firekit's life, which made Bramblefang crack at last.
The great brown tabby was furious and from then on abused his kits into obidence. They didn't play with the other kits; they were terrified of their father, who continued to threaten them and leave clawmarks on their bodies.

Apprenticeship ;; Finally, Sandkit and Silverkit reached six moons and became Sandpaw and Silverpaw. They were given mentors and were trained everything from hunting to fighting. Still, Bramblefang would continue to attack them whenever they were alone, and they would vaguely manage to escape with long scars. This confused RiverClan because each day the two siblings seemed to return with an extra scar on their body.
However this also made Sandpaw and Silverpaw very close siblings, as they lived in fear together. Silverpaw swore protection over his sister, but Sandpaw told him she could take care of herself. They would still stay close though and were hardly seen without the other.

Warriors ;;[/u] Sandpaw and Silverpaw became warriors at last, taking the names Sandtail and Silverclaw. They were overjoyed: however their father didn't join in the celebration, and had slipped into his den just after their new names were announced, not to return till morning.
A couple of moons later the two warriors were out hunting with Silverclaw's old mentor when they came across a badger. Silverclaw's old mentor - Hawkfur - decided that it would be better to drive it off now, and so they attacked. They fought with the power of StarClan, and bore many scars but finally the badger was driven off. However, Silverclaw had suffered much damage, and was rushed to the medicine cat's den. Sandtail stayed with him all night but unfortunately the next day he died; she was so miserable, and spent the next half moon silent.
Then, a warrior named Eaglefoot started spending more time with her. Sandtail could even say that she had fallen in love with the ginger-and-white tom. But sadly, all good things have to come to an end, and the horrible day came at last. Sandtail and Eaglefoot were out on patrol, walking down the river on a warm newleaf night, when suddenly Bramblefang appeared. Sandtail, instantly alarmed, dived into the nearest clump of bracken. Then without warning her father lunged at Eaglefoot and forced him backward, straight into the river. Sandtail sprang forward but Bramblefang barred her way, and by the time she finally managed to shove him aside, Eaglefoot had drowned and was out of sight.
Sandtail and Bramblefang returned to camp, Sandtail's mind spinning with fear, guilt and grief. But it seemed like luck was on her side. When they stepped through the entrance, the leader exiled Bramblefang, saying that a warrior had witnessed everything while hiding in the shadows and reported to her straight away. Sandtail was relieved and victorious, but she desperately wanted to avenge Eaglefoot's death. Sadly she never got the chance and still blames herself for not stopping it.
Still, Sandtail lived on, and today she still serves RiverClan as a loyal and dedicated warrior.
